Craig Anderson earned his third shutout of the season with a 41-save performance Thursday, giving the Florida Panthers a 2-0 win over Edmonton.
It was Florida's first victory over the Oilers in seven seasons and the Panthers' first triumph in Edmonton in almost 13 years.
Stephen Weiss scored a power-play goal with 5:04 to play in the second period and it remained a 1-0 game until Radek Dvorak produced an empty-netter with .07 of a second to play. It was Florida's fifth win in six games.
Mathieu Garon faced only 15 shots for the Oilers, who had won their previous three outings.
Anderson's shutout was the seventh of his six-year career.
