Chinese Foreign Ministry Condemns Japan PM's Shrine Visit

Beijing, 17 October: Chinese Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Monday [17 October] to condemn Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's visit to the Yasukuni Shrine.
The Chinese government and people expressed strong indignation over Koizumi's act and lodged a strong protest to the Japanese side, the statement said.
