(Rewording final sentence, corrected version follows)
Four people were killed and 70 others were injured as a result of two explosions in the town of Ahvaz in the region of Khuzestan in southwest Iran. The town's governor confirmed that the two blasts, which were five minutes apart from each other, occurred at 1700 [local time, 1330 gmt] in a dustbin [as heard] near a crowded market in the centre of the town, leading to substantial material damage including the destruction of five cars.
It is to be noted that Ahvaz has previously witnessed such blasts. Investigations have proved that the British troops in Iraq were involved in these.
