Bill Lively Joins Baylor Health Care System Foundation as Senior Strategic Development Consultant

Lively Managed $350 Million Fundraising Campaign for Dallas Center for the

Performing Arts

DALLAS, Feb. 4 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Baylor Health Care System Foundation announced today the appointment of Bill Lively as Senior Strategic Development Consultant. In this role, Lively will offer counsel in the development and implementation of a strategic long-term philanthropic plan for Baylor. Initially, he will offer strategic advice on fundraising efforts for Baylor's $350 million Cancer Center scheduled to open in 2011.

From 2000 through the end of 2008, Lively served as Founding President and CEO of the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts Foundation during which he established the Foundation's campaign management infrastructure and systems designed to raise $350 million to help build the center. Under Lively's leadership, the campaign generated more than $334 million, including 129 gifts of $1 million and above, the most gifts at the million dollar threshold ever raised by any capital campaign to build cultural facilities in an American city.

At the beginning of 2009, Lively transitioned to become president and CEO of the North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee, chaired by Roger Staubach. Concurrently, he serves as President of the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts Foundation's Endowment Trust.
