Russian nuclear power monopoly Atomstroiexport said Friday an Iranian delegation will visit Russia to discuss nuclear power cooperation.
Atomstroiexport said the visit, scheduled for Aug. 22-26, will concern the company's contract to construct Unit 1 of the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran, RIA Novosti reported Friday. The contract is reportedly worth about $1 billion.
A spokesman for the nuclear power company said the delegation will take a tour of the Kalinin nuclear power plant in the Tver Region of central Russia.
The Bushehr plant was scheduled for completion by the end of the year but Iran and Atomstroiexport said in July that the launching had been pushed back to the second half of 2007.
