This Envisat ASAR Wide-Swath radar multi composite color image is centered over the Srlandet (South Country) region of Norway. Visible are the cities of Bergen (bright area top left), Stavanger (lower left part of the peninsula) and Oslo (bright part on the upper right). The darker brown area top center of the image is the Hardangervidda National Park area. The image consists of two ASAR images acquired on different dates and the first principal component image extracted from the two acquired images, and assigning a color (RGB) to each image (Red: 18 December 2003, Green: Principal Component 1, Blue: 26 June 2003).
