This Medium Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (MERIS) image was acquired over the five Great Lakes in the North-East of United States.
Lake Michigan and Lake Huron are visible in the center of the image, Lake Superior in the upper right, Lake Erie (in light blue color) and Lake Ontario in the left of the image. In the upper left image the Ontario province (Canadian territory) with snow-covered mountains area is visible.
